Hey, thanks for making it this far! I appreciate you looking through my portfolio and taking a peek at what I'm capable of.
TLDR; I'm a jack-of-several-trades creative who got where she is today by sucking at it all for a long time, persisting and correcting my mistakes with the guidance of super talented mentors. I'm looking to be part of a team where there's a genuine culture of helping each other do well, where maintaining utmost respect during disagreement is a company value, and where there's hopefully the type of team that'll enjoy photoshopping some serious memes with me during lunch breaks.
Cover Letter: The martial arts world inspired my style to be as bold as the athletes I document.
A resume is attached for your reference; however, a resume is only an indicator. I would like to meet with you and demonstrate that I have the background and the dedication to be of value to your company.
Please consider the following:
- I take a personal interest in my work beyond the actual duties.
- I have the ability to employ technology and new procedures or methods of organization to become more productive.
- I am skilled at recognizing trends and producing relevant and fresh imagery.
- I am proficient at managing deadlines when performing in a time-sensitive environment.
Availability: As a lover of the freelance life, I've thoroughly enjoyed being able to create my own schedule to balance work and jiu-jitsu. Living on my own though has brought on many more responsibilities, and it's time for me to bring in a more stable income. Weekends are tough but are doable with at least a few weeks notice because I travel a lot to photograph jiu-jitsu tournaments and events. Although typical 9-5 hours are not exactly preferred, the right team and the right conditions can make this exactly the opportunity I'm looking for.
